Yes, it is all on one floor. Half of the tables are up one step but the rest are just level with the ground. You might need some help opening the door though, but the staff is super kind so I'm sure they would be happy to do so.
Yes
Great gyros! The meat to bread proportion was better than most. They cut the pita in half, split it open, and stuff the meat in.
My fella and I split a whole gyro, it was pretty huge so splitting it worked perfectly. They were a little heavy on the tziki sauce and it had chunks of cucumber, which I'm not used to.Otherwise everything was great. Staff was friendly, food came out quickly.
Good spot for "fast food greek". It's quick and extremely reasonably priced.
Great food and friendly owner
i would say this is the best authentic ME restaurant in SF. hands down best Hummus, Falafel. Shawarma and lentil soup. every time i am in IN i go there.
My sister and I dined in and the food was amazing!
Service was quick and courteous. My spicy gyro was sassy contrasted against the cool refreshing tzaziki sauce that was bursting with chunks of cucumber. Overall excellent meal!
Try their spicy gyro with cucumber sauce😍😍
The food is great and they offer carry out. Today is the first time that I've dined-in and I think that it's going to be my new normal.
Had the spicy Gyro meal. It was delicious and the fries are the best I've had in months. They just got a new regular.
Ordered 3 gyro's today with 2 spicy and one not. Also sauce on side for one of them thru door dash. The spicy ones were incorrectly made. When I called to report this the man I spoke with would not stop talking and listen to my complaint let alone fix it! He kept telling me I was wrong about the mess up! Listen to your customers next time!
An awesome place to get your gyro craving filled. I love the spicy gyro combo, crinkle cut fries (perfectly prepared), a drink.
Excellent food with personal service! Loved it!
Now that the deadline is nearly finished finally got a chance to get to Sam's for lunch :-) hard to decide gyro, shawarma, humus, salad... Mmmmm good
this has to the best place to get an authentic gyro. The cucumber sauce I order is so darn good it has some tiny bits of cucumber in it(seasoned well. Fast friendly service. i usually get the whole gyro and eat half save the other half for lunch or dinner the next day. The pita bread is stuffed full of the meat which is seasoned perfectly. It's well worth the money.
Gyros are delicious! Our favorite takeout spot!
Food was nasty, and there were 2 roaches in the table
Best gyros in town.
Delicious and authentic Mediterranean food always. Falafel and gyros are always my go to and I've been eating here for years with never a disappointment.
Our favorite gyro place.
Superb food - the best gyros and schwarma in town, very good fries. The sauce is the freshest I've had anywhere. The food is a little more expensive than other gyro places, but the quality is superior. A 1/2-pound burger here is half the price of a smaller burger next door.
First time coming here and the food was great . I didn't eat in but overall good. Friendly place and very clean place.
Excellent, authentic gyros and falafel. Friendly people and good service. Casual dining.
Food was wonderful. Give this place a chance
Pretty good gyro...nothing extraordinary, but hit the spot.
Mediocre gyros at best. The sauce was weak.A+ fries, though.
Sam is welcoming and nice food felt like home food...now no customer relations nor service...curt and food taste like factory made...sad miss Sam he made it shawarma. Sooo onion spice and beef or lamb delicious
Sam's is my favorite place in Indianapolis to get years. Open 18 years, with 12 years in the same location. They have delicious falafel sandwiches and maybe the best French fries in the state. If you are in south ripple and hungry, it's worth the low prices and huge portions.
Food were great. Very authentic food. Difficult to find parking spot.
I thought the gyro was great although I missed the tomato, purple onions and feta cheese along with the cucumber sauce.
Unfortunately Covid-19 has SACKED the dine-in experience and from the looks of the inside, that's a good thing! I'm not sure if they are short to survive, or if they are barely surviving. That being said, I would encourage you to dine outside or take your food to go. Quick tip, don't order the soup, they need to work on that, but the Gyros, damn good!!! Brought me back home to Chicago just like in the movie Ratatouille!!!
OMGyro!!! I have been craving one all morning for some reason so I mentioned it to a co-worker and she strongly suggested Sam's. So GLAD she did! Absolutely DELICIOUS!! I was pleased with the entire Lunch Combo for just under $10! Got Drink, a boat load of Greek Fries covered in Feta Cheese and a side of some Delicious Oil/Herb Blend YUMMO - and the GYRO Y'ALL!!! Perfect! What I love most, it's NOT GREASY!! I hate when I go somewhere and it's greasy!! Not here! The meat is plentiful, seasoned to perfection and oh so Tender. Thanks Michelle, for suggesting! I will definitely be back! ευχαριστώ
Friendly, nice workers, good food
Enjoyed their meal very much. Gyro salad. Baklavaka - prob a bit too much cinnamon. Baba ganeoush was a bit too smoky. Other than that. Great waiter
I seriously don't know what these other people have been eating. Small portions, underwhelming. There's hardly ever anyone there. It's bizarre. Not great, not terrible, but again, better options are around.
best gyros in indy!! delicious, fast, and simple. well seasoned meat and delicious falafel. can’t recommend this place enough!
Got food to go for lunch, and in the 5 minutes that I sat down to wait for it a ROACH crawled across my table. Just noticed there is another review a few weeks ago mentioning they also had roaches crawl on their table, so guess they have an infestation going that they don't care about. The place looks filthy and run down, like it hasn't seen a deep clean in a decade. There is old food smashed into the tile grout, which I'm sure the roaches love. I threw my food away when I got home but should have complained and asked for a refund right then, but the more I looked around I didn't want to spend one more minute inside. Why bother keeping a restaurant open if you take so little pride in it?
Always great food and the order is always ready when said to be picked up.
Very friendly, loved the food
One of my favorite go to places for mediterranean food. I love the gyros salad.
I believe a new owner has it. Not as good as in past
This place has the best falafel sandwiches! I recommend the tahini sauce or hummus on it if you are vegan. The cucumber sauce is delicious, too! I don't digest dairy well so I couldn't eat much of it, but I tasted it and it's great! There is always seating available and the staff gets to you right away. The employees (and owners?) are very friendly, accommodating, and cook and serve your food quickly. Everything here is so good and this is my and my boyfriend's go-to place in Broad Ripple when we want to avoid crowds (which is usually always) or have eaten too many tacos and need a change! I could easily eat their food everyday!
By far the best lentil soup ever. Greek salad and falafel were delicious as always!
I stop here every time I come back to Indianapolis. The spicy gyro with cucumber sauce is a must, and is arguably the best gyro I've had anywhere.
I have no idea how this place is still in business. No one's ever there. The prices are bit crazy. The food *sucks*. Don't bother.
it's unfortunate that they don't respect smoking laws. instead, they allow their customers to smoke outside their entrance which leads to a less than enjoyable meal next door at Twenty Tap.
Great authentic Greek food. Prices are a little steep but you get what you pay for. Baklava is a tiny sliver 😔
Very hot place. Not so bad food
We've been going to Sam's on and off for the last few years - even though some things about the building have changed, the food definitely hasn't. It's tasty, filling, and (mostly) healthy; if you have a need for a gyro or some falafel, Sam's is the best place to go.
The falafel was falawesome! I arrived between lunch and dinner time so service was very fast. The place is small with a simple layout. The food was very tasty and reasonably priced for a quick lunch break.
